As a Security Officer - Armed Utilities Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, observations, and any incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist in coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol to help to deter potential threats to people and property at the utility location.
• Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Hold an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
