As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the facility. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling various areas by vehicle as well as on foot. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and reporting as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons on the premises, following site protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities through written reports and/or electronic systems as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor management processes to help to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
• Communicate professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and emergency responders as needed during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
