Job Title: Manager, Owned Content.
Location(s): Stamford, CT.

Position Overview:

  • The Manager, Owned Content is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of owned content across major e-commerce marketplaces and .com properties for the NAR region.
  • This role drives content excellence across the digital shelf, brand stores, and corporate websites to enhance customer experience, improve conversion, and align with category and business objectives.
  • The position collaborates closely with integrated agencies, marketplace partners, creative teams, and cross-functional global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce Marketplace - Owned Content & Digital Shelf
Strategic Leadership
  • Lead and own the creation and implementation of the NAR 360 Organic Strategic Plan for marketplace channels.
  • Manage relationships with internal teams, agencies, marketplace ad partners, sales teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for performance marketing insights and reporting across marketplace and retail teams.
Content Strategy & Execution
  • Oversee end-to-end content strategy and execution across all marketplace properties (US & CA).
  • Manage marketplace brand stores, including ASIN/product refreshes, merchandising updates, layout improvements, and new page launches.
  • Recommend new content that supports brand advocacy, product education, and customer engagement based on trends and competitive insights.
  • Drive e-commerce content strategy across categories in collaboration with Brand and Creative teams.
Digital Shelf Management
  • Lead the agency in developing and executing a comprehensive Digital Shelf Plan:
    • SEO-optimized product titles and descriptions.
    • Above-the-Fold (ATF) and Below-the-Fold (BTF) assets, including premium and enriched content.
    • Brand Store optimization and expansion.
Conversion Optimization
  • Partner with the agency and creative teams to conduct A/B testing on assets to maximize conversion rates and improve shopper engagement.

Website Architecture & Execution
  • Own the NAR website architecture, strategy, and execution-including page creation, consumer flow, and overall usability.
  • Coordinate deployment of owned content across markets, including translation, localization, and compliance with global standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as the Key Point of Contact with global and cross-functional teams for all website architecture needs.
  • Partner with Experience, Content, and Business Units to define Next Gen page deployments, including templates, layout, content, and localization.
Digital Experience Optimization
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for site optimization to improve digital customer experience.
  • Execute improvements in collaboration with global and regional teams, ensuring alignment with digital strategies.
SEO Leadership
  • Own and manage SEO strategy across all categories in scope.
  • Lead roadmap development, keyword research, behavioral insights analysis, and competitive assessments.
  • Conduct reporting and technical site audits to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Deliver on-page optimization recommendations to improve visibility, ranking, and traffic quality.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce Management, or related fields.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (digital marketing, e-commerce, agency environment, data analysis, or similar).
  • Master's Degree: No prior experience required.
