As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Vehicle Patrol in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout retail and mall locations. Your role will focus on providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd control and help to maintain order during busy periods or special events at the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, and visitors to provide information or assistance as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A customer service background is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
