MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Orthopedics Joint Replacement Falmouth, ME, is recruiting a Per Diem Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). The PA/NP will work with our new joint surgeon in both a surgical and clinic setting.

Just two hours north of Boston, this is an exceptionally diverse and vibrant community with excellent restaurants and schools.

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner with a first assist certification

Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure

NCCPA certification

Current BLS required

Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including medical histories, performing evaluations and wellness diagnosis

Knowledge of indications for proper techniques for office procedures

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
