The Role:

The Shipping & Receiving Agent will be responsible for incoming and outgoing goods from the properties warehouse. Must ensure all items are properly inventoried and verifying shipment information. Responsible for performing all duties according to the Queen Casino policies, procedures, Internal Controls, Gaming Board guidelines, and state laws.

Responsibilities:



  • Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
  • Must effectively and timely receive all property shipments.
  • Accurately inventory all items received
  • Create and verify shipping documents/labels.
  • Must document all shipping discrepancies and report as applicable.
  • Ensure items received match the packing lists.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries.
  • Must effectively communicate with vendors and customers.
  • Must always follow safety guidelines.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 100 ponds.
  • Must represent the company professionally with guests and vendors
  • Must be able to work with urgency.
  • Must be friendly and courteous at all times.
  • Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the department leaders.
  • Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.
  • Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
  • Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.
  • Other duties as assigned by management



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-2 years previous work experience, preferred
  • Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.
  • Ability to extended hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Fork lift Certification, preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming License, if applicable
