UCF Office of Government & Community Relations: The Office of Government and Community Relations at the University of Central Florida serves as the official liaison between the University community and all levels of government. Our team advocates for UCF's funding priorities and works to build and strengthen relationships with government officials and agencies. Office Culture The Office of Government & Community Relations is a relatively small unit in which the members work as a team. While the office has defined leaders for local, state, and federal government and other relationship management assignments within the team, all members assist each other as needed, especially in large initiatives and events, as well as covering for each other during a team member's absence. The office also works closely with and regularly assists the staff of the Office of the President when requested. The Opportunity: UCF Government & Community Relations seeks candidates for an Administrative Coordinator III. The position will provide the primary support for the Associate Vice President, Federal Relations (AVPF), with occasional support of the Senior Associate Vice President, Government & Community Relations (SAVP), including administrative tasks for the UCF Legislative Scholars Program. The position will work with the external community providing appropriate and professional communications on behalf of the AVPF. With guidance, the position will also handle and implement projects that promote and achieve the objectives of the office, including various administrative tasks and project management duties as assigned. As the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, this position will represent UCF, building strong relationships while keeping things running smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
