Job Overview
The Credit Intern will focus primarily on portfolio management, loan review, and data entry for covenants. The intern will assist the Credit department by reviewing credits as assigned and may assist Commercial Lending by attending loan review meetings, if necessary.

Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Portfolio management reporting.
  • Perform financial analysis on credits.
  • Assist and observe the commercial lending underwriting process.
  • Assist the credit department on their annual review of commercial credits.
  • Prepare cash flows, debt to income, and loan to value worksheets.
  • Enter data for financial covenants.
  • Financial Covenant review, input, and testing.
Requirements
Required Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Displays a high level of confidentiality.
Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED and enrollment in a 2 or 4-year degree program.
  • Enrollment in a 4-year college or university with a concentration in Economics, Finance, or Business preferred.
