| Position Description |
Georgia State University College of Law currently invites applicants for a full-time non-tenure track professor of practice position to begin in June 2026. We are seeking applicants with significant practice, teaching, and/or research interests to perform a range of teaching and administrative responsibilities in the College of Law. While the final division of duties depend upon the experience and experise of the successful applicant, the duties that we are seeking are: (1) teaching across a variety of subject areas to support the College of Law's JD,
LLM, Legal Analytics programs, and any other programs upon our mutual agreement, which may include courses in Legal Analytics, Evidence, Introduction to US Law, Professional Responsibility, Civil Procedure, Corporations, Remedies, Legislation and Regulation, Securities Regulation, and other courses as needed. (2) supporting our Academic Success division by supporting students in preparation for the bar exam; 3) mentoring organization and curriculum and bar readiness for
LLM students to assist with admissions and recruitment; (4) serving as Director of
LLM programs which will include responsibility for assisting with academic advising and dual concentration administration for
LLM students and direction of post-JD certificate programs and professional certificate programs; (4) serving on faculty committees; and (5) supervising law student writing projects.
