Job Description

Summary: Supervise, construct, and coordinate weekly site production schedule. Work with cross-functional teams to support supply chain resources needed to fulfill the site's weekly production volume. Align with customer planners to determine site expectations. Monitor and advise leadership on customer forecast changes. Advise production team on critical schedule changes to align with customer needs. Collaborate with operations on weekly labor needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate weekly production schedule.
  • Generate weekly final and daily volume reports.
  • Collaborate with the customer and local leadership on on-site expectations.
  • Provide directions to the site operation team on schedule changes.
  • Drive weekly planning meetings.
  • Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, considering labor limitations and time constraints.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or related discipline and a minimum of (5) years of related experience in manufacturing industry and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience and knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
