SAP S/4 Hana Finance & Procurement Application Support Engineer

Salary Range: $74,923-$119,045

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance & Procurement Application Support Engineer to join our dedicated Finance IT Portfolio team. This role will be critical in supporting our implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solution, focusing primarily on the Finance (FI) and Procurement (Sourcing & Procurement) modules

Application Support & Maintenance (70% Focus)

Provide Level 2/3 functional supportfor end-users across global Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling) and Procurement (P2P, Purchasing, Inventory Management) processes.
• Triage, diagnose, and resolve production support issues, escalating to SAP support channels when necessary and managing the incident through resolution.
• Execute in-app configuration and fine-tuning within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solution based on approved change requests.
• Support the semi-annual release adoption process, including regression testing and ensuring business continuity with new SAP features.
• Manage user roles and authorizations within the Finance and Procurement application areas.

Procurement Focus & Implementation Support (30% Focus)

• Act as the primary project lead and functional support for the ongoing procurement resdesign project
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and implementation partners to define and configure new Procurement functionalities (e.g., advanced purchasing, contract management).
• Develop and maintain key integration points between SAP S/4HANA and external procurement or invoice management systems using APIs/iFlows (SAP BTP).

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Identify process gaps and recommend standardized solutions in line with SAP Best Practices for the Public Cloud environment.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including training materials, configuration guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• 3+ years of hands-on functional experiencewith SAP ERP systems, with at least 1 year directly supporting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (or Private Cloud).
• Deep functional knowledge and configuration experience in SAP FI (General Ledger, AP/AR, AA, CO).
• Strong functional knowledge of the SAP Sourcing & Procurementmodule (MM/P2P) in S/4HANA.
• Experience with the SaaS modelof S/4HANA Public Cloud, including in-app extensibility and configuration tools.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and manage end-to-end incident resolution.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), particularly for integration (APIs, Integration Suite) and analytics.
• Experience with Project Management (PMO)
• Familiarity with other integrated modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory Management).
• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification in Finance or Procurement.
