Position Description We are seeking a skilled End of Line Test Technician to join our manufacturing team in producing high-quality chillers for data centers. The End-of-Line Test Technician is responsible for performing final product testing and validation to ensure that all units leaving the production line meet performance specifications and quality standards. This role involves using test equipment, diagnostic tools, and technical documentation to verify product functionality and identify defects before shipment. Hours: 10PM - 6AM Base Pay $35.06 Shift Differential (2nd & 3rd Shift) - $5.00 Key Responsibilities Conduct functional tests on finished products based on established procedures Interpret test results and diagnose product failures or non-conformance Document and report testing results, including anomalies and recommended actions Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve product issues Support continuous improvement byidentifyingrecurring test failures or process inefficiencies Involvement in quality investigations and structuredproblem solvingusing tools and methodologies for problemsidentifiedby external customer complaints and internal concerns. Engaging other departments in problem solving investigations. Undertaking all aspects of testing requirements, specifically: Pressure Test, Evacuation and Charging Refrigeration performance testing Electricalcomponenttesting Mechanical/ electrical installations Testing design TD at required waterflows and pressure drops Building test rigs andassistingwith test plans Required Education & Qualifications 1+ years of maintenance experience ina manufacturingindustry. Electrical and mechanical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning equipmentpreferred. Computer and report writing skillsessential. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, work instructions, and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be able tolift upto 50lbsand work in various positions (standing bending, kneeling, etc.) for extended periods. Knowledge of safety regulations, including proper handling of gases and personal protective equipment (PPE). High school diploma of GEDrequired; technical certification in refrigeration/HVAC would be an advantage. Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
