About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Visual Designer to join our Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) team. This role is critical in ensuring the final execution of all marketing assets is technically flawless, meets brand standards, and is optimized for deployment across all channels-digital, print, and experiential. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional technical skills, and is a strong steward of the brand's visual identity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Execution
- Final Asset Creation: Prepare, resize, and deliver final, production-ready files for a wide range of marketing materials, including digital ads (display, social, programmatic), website elements, email templates, print collateral (brochures, posters, packaging), event signage, and out-of-home (OOH) media.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous technical quality checks on all outgoing files, ensuring correct resolution, color space (CMYK, RGB, spot colors), bleeds, trim, file naming conventions, and adherence to specific vendor/platform specifications (e.g., social media ad specs, print vendor die-lines).
- Design Tool Management: Expertly manipulate and finalize design files using the Adobe Creative Suite, focusing on efficiency and consistency across all deliverables.
- Template Creation & Development: Lead the creation, development, and maintenance of scalable and flexible production templates (e.g., Google Slides/PPT, standardized digital ad templates) to streamline the asset creation process for local markets and internal stakeholders.
2. Brand & File Management
- Brand Adherence: Serve as a final reviewer for visual brand consistency. Ensure all layouts, typography, color palettes, and imagery adhere to established brand guidelines before release.
- File Archiving & DAM: Organize, categorize, and maintain the digital asset library (DAM) with final, approved, and versioned assets, ensuring easy retrieval for the IMC team and cross-functional partners.
- Version Control: Rigorously manage asset versioning and localization requests to prevent errors and ensure the correct asset is deployed in the correct market/channel.
3. Collaboration & Process
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Graphic Designers, Copywriters, Campaign Managers, and Media Buyers to understand asset requirements and timelines.
- Production Systems Design & Optimization: Actively participate in the design of the creative production systems, recommending technical solutions and workflows to improve the efficiency, quality, and speed of the production pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Production Designer, Mechanical Artist, or similar role, preferably within an in-house creative team or agency environment.
- Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the technical specifications for both digital (web optimization, file compression, responsive design principles) and print (pre-press, color separation, proofing, trapping, die-lines).
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to technical accuracy are non-negotiable.
- Workflow Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Familiarity with motion graphics/video file production is a plus (e.g., exporting assets for use in After Effects).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) as they relate to digital assets.
