About the Opportunity

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for all Microsoft SQL Database Servers and will be working closely with BI team to create reports in Qlik and data migration into Snowflake.

Location: Remote, limited travel

Responsibilities:

  • Configuring Servers and Databases
  • Monitoring the performance of hardware and software
  • Extracting and/or loading data
  • Collaborate with System Analysts to support requirement for various ERP and Custom Apps
  • Work with ERP vendors or Microsoft to resolve any database related issues
  • Responsible for Backup policy and execution
  • Manage license compliance and support contracts for all Microsoft databases
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation for data structure and data flow
  • Responsible for security and cyber security compliance of all Microsoft SQL servers.
  • Collaborate with Design, Analyzes and test solutions for Qlik reports before formal launch
  • Monitor and maintain Snowflake Tenet
  • Actively seeks ways to improve business processes and interactions
  • Stays current with emerging trends and technologies as relates to MS SQL Server
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 5 years of combined experience administering Microsoft SQL server databases and data analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL database administration and Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with BI tools and data warehousing such as Qlik, Snowflake, and DBT
  • Experience with APIs and Version Control Systems such as Gitlab
  • Experience with both on-premises and government cloud hosted ERPs
  • Experience with Database replication tools like Microsoft SQL Server and Fivetran
  • Experience with Snowflake AI Agents
  • Thorough knowledge of report writing tools including the ability to create and modify new or existing reports
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence best practices
  • Qlik Cloud report app design and management
  • DBT model design and maintenance
  • Snowflake Data Warehousing
  • Foundational knowledge of ERP functional areas
  • Experience with using database Monitoring tools such as Solarwind
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Project Management skills
  • Self-motivating skills to plan and accomplish individual and team goals
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
  • Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
