Job Summary:

Provide leadership and management for the development, innovation, direction, and integration of LSS Meals to meet the needs of communities statewide. Provide leadership in the development, fiscal accountability, coaching and mentoring of staff. The Senior Director also leads a positive work culture with a focus on the mission of providing proper nutrition to those in need. Serve as one of the team leaders and collaboratively ensure implementation of the LOS in conjunction with Older Adults and all overarching LSS strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in food services, Business Administration, Finance or related field is required.
  • Master's degree in food services, Business Administration, Finance or related field is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in directing/managing multi-site commercial food service operations is required.
  • Experience in social ministry, older adults, service development, health care partnerships, sales development, grant writing, collaborations and organization development is desirable.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • Able to take the initiative to solve problems as well as capitalize on opportunities in such areas as new business, revenue sources, expense reduction, contract negotiation and attracting and retaining qualified staff.
  • Able to function very independently in a variety of roles.
  • Able to interact/network with many different individuals from different interest groups in society, in a manner, which encourages initiative and positive cooperation.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is essential.
