Position Summary:
- Entegris is seeking a Senior Scientist to join its Analytical Services team in Chaska/Bloomington, MN.
- This role willbe responsible forleading testing, maintenance, method development,andoptimization on our suite of Thermal Desorption Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (TD-GCMS) instrumentation and serve as a subject matter expert.
- The ideal candidatewill be results orientated withgood communicationskills.
Responsibilities:
- Support laboratory operationsincluding performingsample prep and analysis following established SOP's and safety protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, andmaintainanalytical instrumentationspecificallyGCMS,but potentiallytoincludeICPMS,IC, etc.
- Analyze data and communicate results effectively.
- Perform method development, validation,and design of experimentsfor R&D projects.
- Drive for continuous improvement of existing testing methods and procedures.
- Continuous training on various analytical techniques and methods.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- MSwith 3 yearsrelevant industry experienceor PhDwithrelevant experienceinanalytical chemistry related fieldor equivalent work experience todemonstratecompetency.
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of GCMS systems and operations, Perkin Elmer experienceideal.
- Experience with otheranalyticalinstrumentationincludingIC, ICP, LPC andpolymersisa plus.
- Familiarity with Labware LIMS.
- Detailorientatedwith strong technical communication skills.
- Ability to workadhering to deadlines;multitaskingandprioritizingas needed.
- Self-motivated and independent problem solver.

- Compensation: $74,000- $89,000 per year with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
