Support strategic decision-making by analyzing market trends & emerging technologies and contributing to the structuring of projects related to ADAS, Software & HMI in North America. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Conducting Market Research and Identifying Emerging Trends
- In-depth analysis of automotive market shifts (electrification, connectivity, digital customer experience) using diverse sources: industry reports, trade shows, and international benchmarks
- Weak signals are translated into product opportunities or alerts on competitive threats
- Example: Creation of trend/value perception matrix to guide the design of next-generation in-car interfaces
- Analyzing Technological Advancements in ADAS, Software, and Human Machine Interface
- Continuous monitoring of innovations in driver assistance, HMI (Human-Machine Interfaces), and connected services
- Evaluation of the maturity of technologies (e.g., L2+/L3 driving systems, voice interfaces, digital keys) and their impact on user experience, aligned with ergonomic and accessibility standards
- Delivery of comparative UX/functional benchmarks to inform technical roadmaps
- Contributing to Product Development Programs
- Active support to transversal product teams (PEPS) in ADAS, SW & HMI domains
- Co-authoring internal documentation for project committees (GPCs) and updating KPI databases with over 300 functional criteria
- Strategic Recommendations Based on Competitive Intelligence
- Identification of best practices from leading competitors (e.g., Tesla, Nio, VW Group) and proposal of UX differentiation strategies
- Preparation of executive summaries for product stakeholders, with usage scoring (simplicity, clarity, perceived security)
- Direct support to product teams in prioritizing high-value features
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of automotive industry experience
- Strong knowledge of the American technical context for ADAS, SW and HMI.
- Curiosity, rigor (fact checking), pragmatism, ability to simplify & summarize.
- Customer orientation to be able to describe the value of tech in terms of user experience.
