Security Officer - Logistics Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Logistics Facility Patrol in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
