As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to all individuals. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the healthcare location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff, visitors, and the public to address concerns and provide information as needed.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols related to armed patrol duties within the healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
