THE POSITION

We are seeking a meticulous Administrative Officer 1 to serve as a Purchase Card Auditor and oversee DCNR's Purchasing Card (P-card) program. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Purchase Card Auditor, your primary role will involve managing and coordinating a wide-range of functions for the department's P-Card Program, which encompasses over 600 Procurement Cards, more than 72,000 transactions and a grand total of roughly $22 million each year. You will be responsible for ensuring all purchases are in compliance with Department of General Services Procurement Handbook and DCNR policies. Specific functions entail closely monitoring P-card transactions; developing automated reporting formats and reports; conducting interviews to discuss questionable transactions; and conducting in-person and virtual trainings to P-card holders.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

  • This particular position also requires possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
