Are you an expert in industrial heat welding or technical textile fabrication? We are looking for a Fabrication Specialist to become a core member of our Mandeville shop. In this role, you aren't just a warehouse worker; you are a precision technician responsible for the manufacturing and structural integrity of our signature industrial tents and structures. If you have experience with Hot Air PVC Welding (Leister, Miller Weldmaster, etc.) or Single-Ply Membrane welding, we want to talk to you. We operate a small, tight-knit, high-standards shop where your mechanical expertise directly impacts our success. Position Objective: The Fabric Technician assists in the manufacturing of PVC covers for the tents and structures we rent, sell and install. This position is also responsible for the cleaning and repair of the covers returning from the field. Position Responsibilities: Quality First: A "detail-obsessed" mindset with a track record of producing work that meets or exceeds strict quality standard Safety Leadership: Not just "safety oriented," but a proactive commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment every day. Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting/moving heavy fabric rolls or structural components (up to 50+ lbs) as needed. Reliability: As part of a small 2-3 person core team, consistent attendance and a "find-a-way" attitude are essential to our shop's success. Requirements: Expertise in Heat Welding: Proven experience with Hot Air PVC Welding, Heat Sealing, or TPO/Single-Ply Membrane Welding is required. Industrial Tooling: Hands-on experience operating and maintaining industrial sewing machines, grommeting equipment, and specialized heat welders. Technical Accuracy: Ability to read and execute work from fabric drawings or blueprints, with the precision to measure to within 1/16th of an inch. Operational Reliability: As part of a small, 3-person core team, we rely on your consistent attendance and "quality-first" mindset to meet production goals. Physical Capability: Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment and able to lift/move fabric components up to 50+ lbs. Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 24.80 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
