As a Security Officer - Campus Perimeter Monitor in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards found during patrols within the education environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, visitors, and emergency responders as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
