Senior Business Process Lead, CE Demand to Deliver and Service

About the Role:

At Boston Scientific, Magellan is a global business transformation program supporting our ERP migration from SAP ECC to S4 HANA. Magellan's goal is to simplify, standardize, and modernize our core business processes, enabling Boston Scientific to better leverage data and position our business for profitable, sustainable growth.

As the Senior Business Process Lead, you will play a pivotal role in understanding and optimizing the process including driving successful business transformation across the Magellan Demand to Deliver and Service team. This role reports into the Capital Equipment Global Supply Chain org. You will operate as part of a cross-functional, enterprise-wide team, representing, influencing, and collaborating with other Business Process Owners, Magellan Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, Boston Scientific Business Process Leads, Data Leads, Subject Matter Experts, COP teams, and stakeholders across the network.

Your Responsibilities Include:



  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Capital Equipment Demand to Deliver and Service process flow, developing deep expertise in all aspects of the process flow.
  • Map the current state process, design the future state process, and create a comprehensive plan to transition from the current to the future state, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs
  • Act as a primary point of contact to collect and analyze improvement ideas and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Enable Business Analysts (BA) to write user stories through clear articulation and understanding of the ideal process state.
  • Suggest and develop performance metrics where needed within the process to effectively monitor performance.
  • Liaise with the training team and site super users/business process leads/subject matter experts to support training plans for key applications, enhancing the knowledge base across the Demand to Deliver and Service workstream
  • Proactively influence functional and regional adoption of new concepts and best practices, simplifying and standardizing Demand to Deliver and Service business processes and their interfacing applications
  • Coordinate and liaise with other Magellan workstreams, business process leads, SMEs, communities of practice, IT solution architects/COE, and stakeholders to ensure a strong pool of expertise across Demand to Deliver and Service
  • Partner closely with Data Leads to ensure good alignment between process flow and data transitions from one process or function to another.
  • Create an environment that encourages constructive feedback and proactive developmental support for all employees

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years technical professional or operational experience in the medical device field
  • 3+ years of systems/applications experience in SAPx; business process lead/subject matter expertise in one or more of: SAP, Salesforce, ServiceMax
  • In all actions, it demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems combined with knowledge of key business processes
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement, system upgrades/enhancements, proactive problem solving, or LBP
  • Analytical problem solving and critical thinking
  • Experience with scaled agile project management and/or proven adaptability, comfortable with change and demonstrated ability to respond to a fast-changing environment
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with ability to transfer knowledge efficiently
  • Ability to create energy, excitement, and personal commitment to the organization by empowering others and creating an inclusive workplace


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Capital Equipment Demand to Deliver and Service processes
  • Previous experience with major program introduction/upgrade, ideally within an IT/systems or business representative role
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to understand gaps and risk assessment
  • Process modeling capabilities
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and ability to establish credibility
  • Ability to establish, communicate, and engage teams in the vision & strategy of the Magellan Program
  • Sense of urgency and commitment to execution

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com-will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
