Macquarie Capital offers global capability across infrastructure, energy, technology, telecommunications and media, critical minerals & energy, green energy, real estate, industrials, healthcare, financial institutions, consumer, gaming and leisure, services and aerospace, defense and government services. Reporting to the project UI Engineer and working closely with the Designer and Business Analysts, you will be part of the development team, making sure that solutions meet the high-quality standards of our clients. You will deliver high quality front-end software that is thoroughly tested and optimized and you will build solutions and integrations from requirements. You will also experiment with technologies that can solve complex business problems, provide maintenance to the existing codebase and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and architecture. Macquarie Asset Management Tech enable Macquarie Asset Management's global technology ecosystem by delivering intuitive, scalable, and secure digital experiences. Our work spans across infrastructure, real estate, fixed income, equities, private credit, multi-asset, sustainable investing, and alternatives-ensuring that every solution supports the diverse needs of asset management globally. Reporting into the Project Engineer and collaborating closely with Designers and Business Analysts, you will focus on: Building high-quality applications that are tested, optimized, and aligned with modern standards. Translating business requirements into elegant solutions, ensuring functionality meets user expectations. Experimenting with emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve development experience. Maintaining and enhancing the codebase, ensuring reliability and performance across platforms. Contributing to platform architecture and design, shaping the foundation for future scalability and integration. Estimated salary amount is the equivalent of $90,000 - $110,000 annually, prorated for the length of time of the internship. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What does our program offer? As part of this ten-week internship with Technology, you will: Complete meaningful and challenging work allowing you to gain practical experience to tie into your theoretical knowledge from school. Take part in an orientation where you'll learn about Macquarie's business groups with your fellow Macquarie interns and receive technical training. Receive support and guidance from your manager and aligned mentor. Participate in philanthropic and social events to connect you to our inclusive culture. Present a project and/or several meaningful features that you worked on during the program to senior management. This internship is for students expecting to graduate and complete your studies between December 2026 - June 2027. You have a strong attention to detail with an understanding or experience working with web development, application development, software development or software engineering, programming languages, or cloud technology and computing depending on your area of interest. You like to collaborate with others and are comfortable building strong working relationships.
