UX Designer III

Genesis10 is seeking a UX Designer III for a 6-month contract opportunity with our client in the global supply chain industry located in Wayzata, MN.

MUST be able to work a hybrid schedule in Wayzata, MN (2-3 days per week).

Compensation: $40.00 - 45.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.

Job Summary:

As a UX Designer III, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging user experiences for various digital products. This role involves translating complex user needs and business requirements into web and mobile features, ensuring designs align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business partners, to ensure products meet user needs and business goals. This position requires a hybrid work schedule of 2-3 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Use design tools to draft wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas, concepts, and strategies.
• Research and assess user behavior and preferences through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Incorporate feedback from users and partners to refine designs, creating and iterating on wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows.
• Lead collaboration with product managers, developers, and other partners to understand user needs and business goals.
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines and improve the overall user experience, ensuring designs are responsive and accessible across various devices and platforms.
• Prepare user personas, journey maps, and other user experience documentation to support design processes.
• Lead usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions, analyze test results, and iterate on designs to improve usability and user satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in UX design.
• Proficiency in product design and prototyping tools.
• In-depth knowledge of user testing software and methodologies.
• Experience in design creation, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Strong understanding of user research and analysis techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
