ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Conduct methodical investigation, analysis, and review of operational processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Document current and future state processes, ensuring clarity and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Develop and maintain presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., PUC settlement reporting, rate case customer reporting, yearly metric reviews).
  • Create and update policies, procedures, and training manuals for back-office operations.
  • Develop QA programs to monitor compliance and performance.
  • Recommend and implement changes to existing procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as liaison with technology teams to define and implement solutions with long-term impact.
  • Perform collection analysis and state-level overviews.
  • Manage Banner data cleanup and serve as a Banner system expert across all areas.
  • Assists with other tasks or projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of two years general business operations experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (ex: pivot tables, charts, graphs, V-LookUp)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline driven environment
  • A team player; able to work effectively in a team fostered environment

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time..
  • Working conditions may include travel to work sites of Essential Utilities and/or other constituents (if applicable)
