Weekend Reception Clerk - North Dodge

This is a temporary, non-benefitted position.

BASIC FUNCTION

Under general supervision of the Clinic Services Manager, functions as a reception clerk in the UI Center for Advanced Reproductive Care. Tasks include greeting patients and visitors when they arrive, checking in patients for appointments using Epic, verifying demographics, gathering insurance information, and scheduling appointments in the Epic Cadence model system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Clerical office, healthcare, or customer service experience which is the equivalent of two years of employment or a combination of education and experience.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Experience working in healthcare with patients
• Experience with the EPIC system
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Pleasant appearance and demeanor
• Good judgement
• 30 WPM typing

HOURS:7:00 AM to 12:00 PM (variable), Saturdays and Sundays, as well as some holidays.

Compensation: Starting at $18.72/hour
