The Mass General Brigham Department of Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to conduct translational neuroscience related to development of a novel gene therapy for peripheral nerve tumors. The ideal person for this position should possess good organizational skills, pay close attention to details, and communicate well. SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: A successful candidate will:
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, and/or REGISTRATIONS (if applicable): N/A EDUCATION: PhD and/or MD required in neuroscience, cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related field. EXPERIENCE: Prior lab experience required. Must have evidence of strong scientific productivity, including peer-reviewed publications. Open to highly motivated candidates with a relevant background. Secondary appointment will be at Harvard Medical School. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY (if applicable): Assistance guiding research technicians and trainees in the lab is expected. FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY (if applicable): N/A WORKING CONDITIONS: Work will be performed in a fast-paced research laboratory environment, requiring teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility.
