Job Description: We are seeking Tellers to join a member-focused financial institution with a strong reputation for service and community involvement. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, have strong attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: * Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently. * Issue debit cards, money orders, and other drafts. * Assist members with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in person, via phone, and through the drive-thru. * Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies and regulations. * Balance cash drawer daily and manage currency transactions with the vault. * Support other departments as needed (Loans, Accounting, Member Services, etc.). * Perform branch opening and closing procedures. * Utilize internal systems for transaction processing and reporting. * Assist with training new tellers and participate in ongoing compliance and regulatory training. Top Skills & Qualifications: Must Have: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Strong customer service skills and a welcoming, professional demeanor. * Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems quickly. * Math aptitude for handling cash transactions accurately. * Retail or service industry experience is acceptable. Nice to Have: * Previous teller or cash-handling experience. * Familiarity with financial services or banking operations. Disqualifiers: * Frequent job changes (job hopping). * Unresolved credit issues (must clear background and credit check). Schedule & Work Environment: * Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM. * No weekends currently. * 1-hour lunch and one 15-minute break. * Business casual dress code (no jeans). * Family-oriented, supportive team environment with hands-on training.
