Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Aerospace Patrol in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location. In this driving role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, contributing to a secure environment. This is NOT the same as a CA - Level 1 Guard Card Certification (which is also required).

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious persons, vehicles, and/or activities.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access guidance and general inquiries as appropriate.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active Department of Defense Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
