Status: Full Time

Shift: Third

*Weekend Only Program, Plus One Shift During the Week*

Job Summary:

The OB Surgical Technician, under the direction and supervision of an RN or MDperforms activities concerned with preparation, assistance, and clean up for vaginaldeliveries and surgical procedures in Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of operative procedures.

Demonstrates knowledge of and utilizesprinciples of aseptic technique.

Performs secretarial duties as necessary andassists in cleaning and stocking.

Assists RNs in direct patient care.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in SurgicalTechnology preferred.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 90 days.

• 1 year of relevant experience required.
