Overview
Salary: $100-115.24 Hourly up to $115.24/hour The Head of Programming is responsible for developing and delivering an ongoing program of culturally relevant programming. This position will drive the strategy, development, and oversee the production of programs that drive customer interest and engagement across Retail stores. The Head of Programming plays a critical role in shaping the strategic vision and execution across all programming types. This role is responsible for architecting programming strategies that reflect our client's brand, business objectives, and cultural relevance-delivered through in-store, virtual, and digital formats. With a focus on innovation, audience impact, and business alignment, the Head of Programming sets quarterly and annual roadmaps, drives key pan-geo initiatives, and partners across the company to ensure programming contributes meaningfully to the broader Retail and brand strategy. Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the strategic programming agenda, ensuring a balanced portfolio of experiences that ladder up to geo-wide business priorities and reflect cultural and local relevance.
- Drive pan-geo initiatives that advance core business goals (e.g., Services, Education, Small Business, Values), developing comprehensive strategies and measurable KPIs in collaboration with global and regional stakeholders.
- Provide creative and strategic direction for content development through well-articulated briefs, identifying and securing talent and partnerships that amplify brand and deliver customer impact.
- Partner cross-functionally with field leadership and global teams to shape and evaluate programming opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic frameworks and Retail priorities.
- Apply data-driven insights and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, inform future strategy, and surface opportunities for innovation and scale.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in managing high-profile events and partnerships, including broadcast events, series content/formats, virtual events/content experiences, and experiential and live.
- Experience working with large, well-known brands and partnering with diverse talent
- Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of an organization, whether with a peer or senior/exec level leadership through crisp, data-driven, strategic briefs
- Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams include and not limited to: Programming, Production, Creative, Product Marketing, Public Relations, Retail Operations, Internal Communications, Training, Merchandising, Finance, etc.

- Well-connected within the cultural and creative industry in their regional market, with the ability to discover, recommend, and source talent.
- Creative and highly strategic in the development of content experiences and programs that build and engage audiences, deliver against business and marketing objectives, and deliver demonstrable value.
- Strong presentation skills, including experience presenting to large audiences.
- Discreet and professional with excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication, and networking skills
