Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking summer 2026 interns for a unique opportunity with several Cranberry Township departments.
THOSE INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM MAY ONLY SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION TO ONE DEPARTMENT. The Communications Department keeps the community informed and connected. The Department uses a variety of communication platforms to inform residents and businesses of urgent news, as well as to promote Township events and programs. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, event coverage, graphic design, social media content creation, special projects, and photography. This position is expected to be 20-30 hours per week. If you have or take on another job, we'll do our best to coordinate hours. The program will run from approximately May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. While interns will spend most of their time with the department they were hired on with, this internship will include events, presentations, facility tours, and volunteer activities to allow interns to get a sense of the entire Township operation. Applicants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. Students seeking an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a relevant major preferred. Approximate Hourly Wage: $13.00 Applications will be accepted through February 8, 2026, or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first. | |
