Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking summer 2026 interns for a unique opportunity with several Cranberry Township departments.
THOSE INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM MAY ONLY SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION TO ONE DEPARTMENT. The Parks and Recreation Department oversees and manages recreational and educational programming throughout the Township. Programs include athletic leagues, Camp Cranberry, aquatic programs at the Cranberry Township Waterpark, Township events, and more. The selected intern will gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations, programs, and activities within the Parks and Recreation Department. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, coordinating daily programs and operations, event planning, and providing customer service. The program will run from approximately May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. While interns will spend most of their time with the department they were hired on with, this internship will include events, presentations, facility tours, and volunteer activities to allow interns to get a sense of the entire Township operation. This position is expected to be approximately 40 hours per week. Applicants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. Students seeking an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a relevant major preferred. Approximate Hourly Wage: $13.00 Applications will be accepted through February 8, 2026, or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first. | |
