Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking summer 2026 interns for a unique opportunity with several Cranberry Township departments.
THOSE INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM MAY ONLY SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION TO ONE DEPARTMENT. The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company provides fire and rescue services to Cranberry Township. The organization also works to maintain a healthy and safe community via outreach efforts, educational services, state-of-the-art training, and partnerships made within the community. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, supporting the Knox Box program and EMA, creating facility preplans, and overseeing the Cadet Academy. The program will run from approximately May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. While interns will spend most of their time with the department they were hired on with, this internship will include events, presentations, facility tours, and volunteer activities to allow interns to get a sense of the entire Township operation. Applicants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. Students seeking an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a relevant major preferred. Approximate Hourly Wage: $13.00 Applications will be accepted through February 8, 2026, or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first. | |
