Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking summer 2026 interns for a unique opportunity with several Cranberry Township departments.
THOSE INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM MAY ONLY SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION TO ONE DEPARTMENT. The Cranberry Foundation is a nonprofit division dedicated to strengthening community engagement, supporting local initiatives, and fostering meaningful partnerships across the Township. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, assisting with event logistics and on-site programming support, help maintain communications and stakeholder database, and provide administrative support for meetings and community initiatives. Additionally, the intern will contribute to donor and partner stewardship efforts by preparing acknowledgment materials, tracking engagement activities, and assisting with general project coordination as needed. The program will run from approximately May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. While interns will spend most of their time with the department they were hired on with, this internship will include events, presentations, facility tours, and volunteer activities to allow interns to get a sense of the entire Township operation. This position is expected to be approximately 40 hours per week. Applicants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION. Students seeking an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a relevant major preferred.
