Overview

This position serves as a partner to senior executives and the broader senior leadership team. This role is responsible for leading a group of consulting team members in driving risk initiatives, collaborating with leadership to identify opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to support key decision-making processes, and executing on both scheduled and ad hoc risk items. The role supports the Community Association Banking division.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning - Collaborates with senior executive and senior leaders to develop and execute business and technology strategies aligned with the organization's risk goals and objectives. Assists in the formulation of long-term business and department roadmaps and prioritize init
  • Team Leadership - Oversees the execution of key projects and initiatives from inception to completion; including but not limited to, Issue Management, Audit/Exams, RCSA, Operational Risk Events, Regulation Changes/RIRs, Record Retention, Business Continuity Planning.
  • Develops project plans, establish timelines, allocates resources and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters. Assists in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors. iatives based on strategic importance.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders. Partners closely with cross-functional teams and departmental leaders to ensure alignment of risk priorities and initiatives with organizational goals. Creates, implements, and manages internal communication plans to support risk initiatives. Serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing insights, recommendations, and data-driven analyses to support key decision-making processes.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and impact of risk initiatives. Provides actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Business Strategy or Management Consulting OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Business Strategy or Management Consulting

Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience within Association Banking Operations, Sales, Service
