What this job involves:

The Team Lead for PDS Security Projects manages a distributed team of Regional Security Project Managers across multiple time zones, overseeing complex security infrastructure portfolios worldwide. This role requires expertise in virtual team leadership, global project coordination, and strategic oversight of security implementations across JLL's portfolio of administrative offices. The position involves establishing standardized processes, ensuring consistent delivery quality, and managing cross-regional collaboration while supporting diverse cultural and operational environments. This position is responsible for a small team and managing physical security upgrades, technology implementations, and compliance projects from conception through completion.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead and develop a global team of Regional Security Project Managers across multiple time zones and geographic regions.
  • Establish standardized security project methodologies, processes, and quality standards for consistent project delivery.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and workload distribution across regional teams to optimize project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular virtual team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews with direct reports.
  • Oversee multiple high-priority security projects and provide escalation support for complex technical or stakeholder issues.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic security initiatives, budget planning, and portfolio-wide implementations.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, project delivery timelines, and client satisfaction across all regions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12-15 years of project management experience with 8+ years leading security infrastructure teams.
  • Proven experience managing virtual teams across multiple time zones and international locations.
  • Advanced knowledge of security systems integration, enterprise platforms, and emerging security technologies.
  • Experience with global vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic procurement processes.
  • Strong understanding of international security regulations, compliance requirements, and regional operational differences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Security Management, or Business Administration.
  • PSP (Physical Security Professional), CPP (Certified Protection Professional), and PMP certification.
  • LEED, AIA, or PE certification with international project experience.
  • Background in global security operations, international commercial real estate, or multinational corporate environments.
  • Experience with remote team development, virtual collaboration tools, and cross-cultural leadership strategies.

Location: Remote - preferably in a market where the client is located

Work Shift: Regular business hours

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

125,000.00 - 175,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
