Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Provide project controls support and oversight by implementing and coordinating project controls systems in support of construction programs and projects
  • Provide project status reporting, cost control, change management, and contract management in coordination with the Client, Project Directors, and Project Managers
  • Evaluate project status against approved project plans, identify variances, and develop strategies to overcome cost and schedule impacts
  • Monitor program and project controls across required platforms, including SharePoint and Ownerfurnished PMIS systems
  • Assist Project Directors with coordination involving corporate contracts, Contracts Administrators, and related stakeholders on new contracts, amendments, subconsultant agreements, and joint venture agreements
  • Develop and implement Project Controls workflows aligned with Client and corporate requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to project team members on project controls processes, standards, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with established project management standards, policies, and procedures
  • Work closely with Project Managers and leadership teams to support project delivery, deadlines, and contractual requirements
  • Assist Project Directors with project setup in Deltek Vantagepoint (VP), including entry of project plans, verification of executed contract documents, and validation of billing requirements and rates
  • Evaluate corporate and client controls systems and implement best management practices
  • Establish and maintain controls to ensure projects are billed and paid timely
  • Develop and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to inform leadership of project performance
  • Support and promote a positive safety culture in accordance with established policies
  • May supervise office or field administrative staff, Field/Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, or other assigned personnel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Construction Science/Management, or a related field preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in Project Controls, Finance, Contracts, or related construction management roles
  • Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for education on a yearforyear basis
  • Experience supporting construction projects or programs, preferably in publicsector environments
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint (VP) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, clientready reports
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience providing oversight and guidance to project teams; supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of public purchasing and procurement processes is a plus
  • Commitment to professional development and engagement in applicable professional or industry organizations encouraged
