The North America Production Cost Program Manager (PCPM) will be the 'Commercial Cost Leader' for a specific vehicle, managing all internal stakeholder interfaces and driving implementation of cost savings, mitigation of cost increase risks, and execution of cost recovery for their vehicle, resulting in TPC improvement.

They will have the following job responsibilities:



  • Manage all commercial cost savings activities generated from system war rooms, plant war rooms, and other similar forums across all internal stakeholders (Brand, SCM, Mfg, Eng, Purchasing, etc.)
  • Drive and manage all commercial cost recovery actions for their specific vehicle (Certified Line Shortages / Disruptions, Capital Over-recovery, ED&D over-recovery, etc.)
  • Drive engagement of cross functional organizations to mitigate specific cost increase risks, minimizing TPC impact, for their specific vehicle
  • Lead Purchasing engagement in System War Rooms, Plant War Rooms, SCM War Rooms, Commodity Cost 'Steering Committees' and any other similar cross functional forums related to cost
  • Manage all commercial cost 'Industrial Committee' reporting related to TPC for their specific vehicle.
  • Ensure all commercial cost savings initiatives from any cross-functional activity are documented in the MCM database and actively managed through to implementation
  • Lead real time monitoring and reporting activities for all commercial cost impacts (Implemented, In-process, Forecast) for their assigned vehicle
  • Lead Purchasing Engagement on all cross functional complexity reduction activities impacting TPC in their assigned vehicle
  • Lead the consolidation of all system should cost gap closure activities to be managed and reported at the vehicle level
  • Lead coordination of TPC Warrior Room Report out presentations

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent from an AACSB accredited program; Other technical degrees with business background also considered
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience
  • Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills
  • Well organized, self-motivated, with ownership mentality
  • Ability to support all aspects of commercial cost with key internal stakeholders
  • Must be skilled at relationship building, cost analysis, negotiation (both internal and external), benchmarking, time management and presentations to all levels of management
  • Strong use of MS Office Suite/G Suite
