Sherwin-Williams is creating an enterprise studio at our new Cleveland Headquarters. We're looking for a talented professional to help organize and manage this new space. The Studio Production Manager is the initial contact person for all employees and groups to the Company's Enterprise Studio and is responsible for ensuring all activities within the Sherwin-Williams Studio operates smoothly and efficiently. The right candidate for this role must be a self-starter driven by strong organizational skills and continuous process improvement mindset designed to effectively and efficiently manage the Studio. As an ambassador of the Company, this individual maintains a professional image, reflects a positive attitude and has an enterprise mindset.

This role is not hybrid or remote. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Manager Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and manage inquiries from a variety of internal stakeholders (i.e. executives, marketing, HR, corporate communications, etc.) and handle a high volume of phone and email communications. (Possess knowledge of all
    S-W leadership and overall structure of Company).
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and tasks. Assist in defining scope, deliverables, success criteria and key metrics of the project in conjunction with project leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project plans, meeting notes, status reporting and other relevant project documentation.
  • Monitor project cost and resource usage where appropriate. Manage studio schedules and coordinate Production Specialist projects. Set up meetings for projects and work with Studio Director to ensure projects meet required deadlines.
  • Escalate risks and issues that have potential to impact project(s) timelines, cost and delivery.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and at all levels.

Production Responsibilities:

  • Manage room schedules and arrange filming schedules and events within the Studio.
  • Assist users with audiovisual setup in the rooms, including connectivity to Sherwin-Williams technology.
  • Identify and recommend best practices, techniques and tools for project planning, execution, tracking, communication and key performance metrics for the department.
  • Manage work and project schedules for Production Specialists to ensure coverage during business hours, coordinates temporary help as needed.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the integrity (maintenance, repairs and cleanliness) of the Studio facility and surrounding areas - audiovisual equipment, green room, studios, pantry, editing rooms, drop-in spaces, etc.
  • Manage inventory of supplies for Studio meeting area. Including coffee and water station, stationery materials, periodicals, all required work orders and housekeeping requests.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in media production, business, marketing or communications

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Three years of related experience in front desk reception, administrative and/or a customer service environment, or five or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling and monitoring tools.
  • Experience in project management, or a functional leadership role on large, complex operational, IT or business projects.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge about current Company operations, its history, and be able to convey this information confidently and professionally.
  • Experience supporting large or complex multi-functional and multi-divisional projects, including business or system integrations, acquisitions or rationalizations.

  • Proven ability to build relationships.
  • Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
  • Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organization skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings up to and including executive level and follow up with resulting action items.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, and to lead and influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority.
  • Proficient at completing objectives from initiation to implementation.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of photo and video production equipment (cameras, lighting, support gear), with the ability to assist in basic setup and operation as needed.
  • Familiarity with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for editing and/or content prep.
  • Critical thinking skills to help coordinate project schedules and workload
