This role seeks an experienced 2nd shift Production Supervisor to oversee Packaging Department teams responsible for converting semi-finished materials into finished goods. The position also provides dotted-line supervision to Print Shop, Warehousing, and Security during 2nd shift.

Key duties include assigning work to staff, enforcing policies and procedures, and recommending process, equipment, or workflow improvements while maintaining delivery, quality, compliance, safety, budget, and cost standards.

This position is for a second-shift supervisor (Hours: 1:30PM to 10:00PM)

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Manages several production teams made up of packaging operators and technicians.
  • Very experienced at supervising and training production personnel with a varied production background.
  • Supervises teams according to established processes, techniques and policies.
  • Schedules, assigns and manages the daily activities of a team.
  • Responsible for meeting key metrics such as production schedules, quality standards, & production yields.
  • Functions as a technical expert capable of analyzing production problems and implement improvements.
  • Identifies root cause of problems, determines and implements corrective action.
  • Identifies, documents and obtains approval for process changes and improvements.
  • Identifies and implements cost and quality improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Capable of handling assigned role independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Work with employees on their development and career goals.
  • Communicates priorities, performance results and objectives to team members.
  • Participates in a variety of standing meetings.
  • Interviews and selects personnel.


What You Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering, chemistry and/or biology or related field.
  • Must have relevant manufacturing/production background in this field.
  • 10+ years manufacturing production experience in a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of production techniques, processes and concepts.
  • A solid knowledge of certain compliance issues, e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Relevant certifications or training a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of quality systems as they relate to production operations.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $96,600 - $132,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
