Production Planner & Data Engineer

• Develop and manage detailed production schedules for Powertrain products, new lines, and sub-assembly lines, coordinating resources to align with supply chain and operational goals
• Assess production capacities and efficiencies using design specifications and operational performance data
• Identify and address capacity constraints, material risks, manufacturing challenges, production blockers, logistical issues, and inventory levels to meet demand
• Design, build, and maintain data workflows for collecting, processing, and analyzing production metrics such as lead times, inventory, and bottlenecks
• Generate dashboards and reports for real-time decision-making, leveraging data analytics to optimize processes and improve efficiency
• Manage projects and lead cross-functional teams across engineering and technical disciplines
• Implement manufacturing planning systems, methodologies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new production lines
• Create ramp-up plans for new Battery Pack and Drive Unit lines, ensuring timely launches for new products and vehicles like Cybercab
• Communicate weekly production plans and schedules to factory teams, managing changes and updates as needed
• Update Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems based on build plans for variants, aligning demand with supply chain; monitor product flow, optimize output, and manage vehicle sequencing in General Assembly based on constraints

• 3+ years of prior manufacturing experience in a similar position.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage competingdemandsand meet tight deadlines with strong follow-through
• Strong analytical mindset withanability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Skilled in managing projects and cross-functional teams with a broad range of engineering and technical disciplines
• Broad experience with manufacturing and planning systems and methodologies
• Proficiencyin SQL, Python, or similar tools; experience with data modeling,dashboard creation (e.g. Power BI,Tableau)
• Experience designing andmaintainingscalable data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and integrating systems to support real-time production analytics
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments and juggling multiple priorities
