  • Provides leadership for technicians, responsible for the oversight of work in field and provide appropriate technical support to perform quality work
  • Estimate & developing service small jobs proposals
  • Perform site visits each week to assess technician effectiveness and show support
  • Ensure that department policies and work rules are followed by technicians
  • Coordinates addition/reduction of work force based on seasonal & workload needs
  • Promotes positive morale of group thru daily communication, mtgs, lunches, etc.
  • Develops a thorough knowledge of Field Centrix software
  • Responsible to minimize and manage technician un-billable time
  • Review completeness of work orders and related documentation for group
  • Approves any small tools and other truck stock purchase
  • Assists with the control of overhead expenses
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure customers are notified of work, and follow-up communication
  • Addresses customer issues
  • Promote add-on work and project leads from techs
  • Participate in the on-call rotation
  • Support the company safety policies
  • Assists in the overall tech training effort
  • Ensure that Apprentices are being cross-trained
  • Coordinates closely with contract sales personnel
  • Works closely with other managers for coordination and workload
  • Other duties as assigned



Experience, technical skills & attributes required:


  • Ten years of field experience
  • Understanding of HVAC/R and Plumbing including
  • Clean rooms, industrial applications, chiller & boilers, BMS controls, system design
  • Professional, dynamic presence and ability to communicate with people of all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional level
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quotas and goals
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook



Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Position is full-time Monday - Friday and is not a remote work position.
