Description Acara Solutions has been providing our staffing services to the aerospace community for over 65 years. Our Sacramento, CA region aerospace/defense client is looking for a
RF Engineering Manager and a RF R&D Engineering Manager. These are salaried direct positions with a salary range of $180K - $236K (some flexibility for a senior person). Performance bonus plus a relocation start bonus available.
The
RF Engineering Manager manages/leads 6 engineers. Although a recent management title and experience is preferred, they would consider a senior engineer that has leadership experience with strong people skills. This position is a hands-on technical position
requiring aerospace and/or defense and
solid state power amplifier experience. They are not interested in candidates with wireless / telecom backgrounds.
The
RF R&D Engineering Manager opening oversees 8-10 engineers. It requires leadership experience,
aerospace and/ or defense, and RF hardware experience. The manager must know the components in an enclosed amplifier system, including expertise in designing high power components. They are not interested in candidates with wireless / telecom backgrounds -
aerospace/defense experience a must.

Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
BSEE (MSEE preferred)
Min 10 years of aerospace and/or defense RF engineering experience, including leadership roles and the following:
The position requires the employee to be able to obtain a government Secret clearance after start date if one isn't currently held.
