As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and reports, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering welcoming customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter routes, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support access control by verifying credentials, directing visitors to sign-in procedures, and reporting unusual access attempts.
• Observe and report security-related alarms, camera feeds, and/or other monitoring systems; escalate concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, scene containment, and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and/or hazards in daily activity reports and incident reports with accurate, timely, and complete information.
• Assist with traffic flow and pedestrian movement during peak arrival and departure times and/or during special events at the location.
• Support protection of client property by identifying unsecured doors, suspicious packages, and/or unusual conditions and reporting findings to site leadership per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
