What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Help to maintain awareness at an aerospace and defense location by monitoring assigned areas for unusual activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Complete routine patrol checks of buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones, documenting observations and reporting concerns through the chain of command.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems when assigned, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and policy violations using approved Allied Universal and/or client reporting methods.
  • Assist with response to medical situations, fire alarms, and/or other facility emergencies by following post orders and coordinating with on-site teams and public responders as needed.
  • Support site investigations by preserving observations, noting timelines, and providing statements when requested by client management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
