Director of Retail Experience - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
This is a Hybrid Work Eligible position.
You will be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Responsible for leading and elevating all channels of the branch network.
- Visits branches regularly to provide support and visual leadership representation.
- Collaborates with the VP of Member Experience to establish the strategic direction, long-term, and short-term goals.
- Develops and executes strategies to improve branch member satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team performance.
- Manages the branch network creation and execution of performance metrics that align with organizational goals.
- Enhances department policies and continuously works with the branch teams to optimize processes and procedures.
- Provides leadership to Regional Managers guaranteeing sales and service excellence and efficient operations.
- Evaluates and ensures effective training, recognition, performance standards, and staffing levels are maintained.
- Mentors, coaches, and develops the branch network in accordance with organization policies and procedures, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- Develops and executes strategies to cultivate select business relationships, attract new business relationships, and drive brand awareness through community support and engagement.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Eight to ten years of similar or related experience.
- Progressive leadership experience managing multiple retail locations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, well-organized and have an excellent eye for detail.

- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor and image with credit union members, team members, and the board.
- Confidentiality required at all times.
- Handle issues with tact, diplomacy, and an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and needs-based selling methodologies.
