Essential Job Duties
This full-time, non-tenure-track position will primarily involve teaching Finance courses in the undergraduate program, with a focus on Financial Management, Investments, and Portfolio Management, or related courses.

The successful candidate will be able to engage undergraduate students in both large lecture settings and traditional and/or online learning environments, demonstrating expertise in corporate finance and financial modeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach four class sections (12 credit hours) per semester, typically 1-3 sections for each course.
  • Participate in department and college service activities.
  • Develop and deliver assigned course(s) under the direction of the Department head.
  • Contributing member of the Department and College faculty.


We seek an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our Finance Department and contribute to the academic success of our undergraduate students. Experience or willingness to teach principles of finance and investment finance is desirable.
Other Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver assigned course(s) under the direction of the Business Management Department head. Contributing member of Department and College faculty.
Qualifications






Minimum Education and Experience
  • Lecturer candidates must have MBA or relevant master's degree in finance or related discipline.
Other Required Qualifications

  • Applicants must have extensive knowledge of financial decision-making by businesses, including advanced theory and practice in evaluating financial statements, capital budgeting, cash flow management, and debt and equity valuation.
  • In the fields of investment and portfolio management, the applicant should be knowledgeable in security analysis, modern portfolio theory, and risk-return concepts.
  • Successful candidates should have experience in financial management positions in private or public organizations in addition to a demonstrated teaching interest and ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Evidence of high-quality university-level teaching in Finance through, for example, teaching evaluations and letters of recommendation.
  • Statement or other evidence of a commitment to academic excellence.
  • Teaching experience or professional experience in finance is preferred, in addition to other criteria as established by departmental rules.
