Description
The Department of Accounting & Management within the School of Business at WVU Tech invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting to begin August 2026. This is a teaching-focused appointment with a 4/4 load (12 credits/semester) across undergraduate accounting courses delivered on campus and online (Blackboard Ultra). Priority teaching needs include Financial Accounting plus either Auditing or Accounting Information Systems; secondary needs include Tax, Governmental & Not-for-Profit, and Fraud/Forensic. Responsibilities include excellence in teaching, advising/mentoring, assessment and accreditation-related work, engagement with student organizations, ongoing professional or pedagogical development appropriate to a teaching-heavy institution, and other duties associated with a faculty position.
